UFC fighter Bo Nickal is attributing his success to his faith as he prepares for the historic Freedom 250 fight on the White House South Lawn. In an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity, Nickal emphasized that his faith has helped him maintain consistency and perspective in his career. 'I believe I’m created in the image of God. I believe he has a purpose for me and loves me regardless of whether I win or lose,' Nickal said. The event, scheduled for Sunday, June 14, coincides with former President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday and will feature a temporary stage seating 4,300 people. Nickal will face Kyle Daukaus in a middleweight bout, calling it a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity.
Nickal also discussed the challenges facing young men in America, advising them against seeking fulfillment in temporary pleasures like drinking, drugs, or fame. 'They're trying to fill a hole that's not going to be filled with the things that they want,' he said. He shared his childhood admiration for wrestlers with 'cauliflower ears,' viewing them as a badge of honor. The UFC Freedom 250 event will stream live on Paramount+ at 8 p.m. on Sunday.
