Detroit sisters charged in restaurant stabbing over food order dispute

Two Detroit sisters, Brianna and Kierianna Long, have been charged in connection with a violent altercation at a Detroit chicken restaurant on May 30. Prosecutors allege that the sisters attacked a 23-year-old employee after receiving a wrong food order. The incident escalated when the sisters reportedly ran behind the counter, threw items at the employee, and attempted to throw hot grease on her. One sister allegedly stabbed the employee in the stomach with a knife, and both fled the scene before being arrested. The employee required surgery after the attack. Both sisters have pleaded not guilty. Defense attorneys argue that the employee provoked the assault by using profanity and throwing items, including knives, first. The case is ongoing.
