Federal authorities have arrested two more individuals in connection with an alleged plot to attack President Donald Trump's UFC event at the White House on June 14. William Lee Spartacus Falkner of Washington state and Jordan W. Rincker of Missouri were charged with conspiracy to commit murder, according to court documents. The arrests bring the total number of publicly identified defendants to seven.
Authorities disrupted the plan days before the event, which was scheduled to celebrate the U.S.'s 250th anniversary. The alleged plot involved using explosive-laden drones to trigger a mass evacuation and direct fleeing crowds toward prepositioned shooters. A second wave was reportedly planned to storm the White House gate.
Falkner, arrested on Friday, was described as integral to the drone operation, with experience in piloting and manufacturing drones. He allegedly discussed loading explosives onto drones and coordinating their acquisition. Rincker, arrested on Sunday, allegedly provided financial support and met with the ringleader, Abraham Alvarez, to receive tactical equipment, including a 3D printer and night vision goggles.
The FBI and federal partners have emphasized the ongoing efforts to disrupt such threats. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that law enforcement continues to safeguard American communities. FBI Director Kash Patel noted the collaboration with partners to prevent the attack.
Additional details emerged from court records, including communications in a Telegram channel dedicated to drone operations. Falkner allegedly discussed drone payloads, anti-jamming measures, and the number of drones needed. The group reportedly met through a TikTok community before moving to encrypted chats.
Body camera footage from Danville police shows the encounter with Tycen Proper, a 19-year-old accused of involvement in the plot. His mother expressed concerns about his recent behavior and purchases, including firearms and ammunition. Proper denied any homicidal or suicidal intentions during the encounter.
The alleged conspirators acquired firearms, ammunition, ballistic gear, and other tactical equipment in preparation for the attack. The plot was reportedly active from March through June 21.
