Olivia Jean has filed for divorce from musician Jack White, citing 'inappropriate marital conduct' as the reason for the split. The petition, filed in Tennessee on June 3, 2024, lists the same date as the separation date. According to court documents reviewed by TMZ, Jean alleges that White's conduct made further cohabitation 'unsafe and improper.'
The couple married in April 2022 during a White Stripes performance at Detroit's Masonic Temple. White proposed onstage, and the ceremony was officiated by his Third Man Records co-founder, Ben Swank. Jean's father and White's mother were present, along with their respective bandmates serving as witnesses. In a 2022 interview with The New York Times, Jean described the wedding as 'the best experience of my life.'
This is White's third marriage and divorce, following previous unions with Meg White and Karen Elson. The couple was last seen together publicly in April 2024 in New York City. Jean's legal filing also requests spousal support and to be listed on White's life insurance policy. Representatives for both parties have not yet commented on the matter.
