Three teenagers from Montville Township, New Jersey, who were reported missing after being last seen at the Denville Train Station on Friday, have been found safe in Stamford, Connecticut. The boys—Brayden Morrissey, 14, Dominic Diliberto, 14, and William Connolly, 17—were initially spotted at the Denville station around 5:30 p.m. local time before traveling to Connecticut.
Authorities, including the Montville Township Police Department and the FBI, conducted an extensive search using K-9 units and drones after the boys left an undisclosed location in Montville on Thursday night. The search shifted to a missing persons investigation when it became clear the boys had left the area.
On Saturday, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) officers in Stamford made contact with the trio. Connolly, 17, was taken into protective custody, but the two 14-year-olds fled the scene. Police Chief Andrew Caggiano confirmed all three were located later that evening. He noted the boys appear to have left on their own accord and did not pose a danger to themselves or others.
The boys' whereabouts and the circumstances surrounding their disappearance remain under investigation. Authorities have not released additional details about their actions or intentions.
