The Real Housewives of Orange County star Jennifer Pedranti confirmed Thursday that her son was involved in starting a brush fire in Ladera Ranch, California. The fire, which broke out around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday near Narrow Canyon Road, burned approximately seven acres before firefighters contained it with the help of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
Pedranti posted a statement on her Instagram stories, acknowledging her son's involvement and expressing remorse. She stated that her son and others were involved, emphasizing that the behavior was unacceptable and that her family takes the incident seriously. No property damage or injuries were reported, and no arrests were made, though consequences are being implemented.
Pedranti mentioned that her son will take a fire safety course to prevent similar incidents in the future. The Orange County Fire Authority confirmed that three minors were interviewed in connection with the fire, but no arrests were made. A full report is expected in 10 days.
Pedranti, who joined RHOC in its 17th season, has faced previous legal issues involving her children. She shares five children with her ex-husband, biotech entrepreneur William Pedranti.
