In a letter to Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Hawley claims Plan C connects women with foreign clinics and online vendors that ship abortion drugs without prescriptions or medical consultations, despite state laws prohibiting such shipments.
Hawley describes Plan C as a 'left-wing dark-money operation' and asserts that its activities warrant a federal criminal investigation. The senator also notes that Plan C advises users on how to limit their 'digital footprint' by recommending privacy-focused tools, while acknowledging potential legal consequences for obtaining abortion pills through its recommended services.
Plan C has not yet publicly responded to Fox News Digital's request for comment. The group's website states that some of the pills sold through its recommended vendors are 'not regulated or inspected by the US government.'
