Martha Stewart, celebrating her 85th birthday, confirmed in a recent interview that she receives quarterly filler treatments to maintain her appearance, while emphasizing she has never undergone plastic surgery.
In a conversation with People magazine, Stewart addressed speculation about her cosmetic procedures, stating: ‘I have not had any plastic surgery at all. I don't think I need it.’ She clarified that her only aesthetic enhancements consist of ‘a little bit of fillers’ administered by dermatologist Dr. Dan Belkin in New York City, with appointments scheduled every four months for touch-ups. Stewart also dismissed suggestions of more extensive procedures, asserting: ‘I'm not getting boobs done and hips and butts and stuff like that.’
Stewart attributed her youthful appearance to a combination of skincare, healthy lifestyle habits, and genetics. She highlighted her routine of facial exercises, facials from Mario Badescu and Georgia Louise, and the use of peptides, both topically and as supplements. ‘Peptides are very good,’ she noted. Stewart credited her mother’s longevity and lifestyle as a model, stating: ‘I have good genes. My mom looked great at 95.’ She described her approach as ‘more a maintenance kind of person,’ focusing on consistency rather than drastic changes.
Her daily regimen includes eating organic food, avoiding excessive alcohol and smoking, exercising regularly, and horseback riding. Stewart also shared her perspective on aging and relationships, remarking that companionship becomes ‘less important’ as one grows older. ‘The older you get, the less you really need a mate, I think,’ she said. She added that she would not want to be ‘beleaguered with an older, ill person.’
To mark her milestone birthday, Stewart shared a photo of herself relaxing in a hot tub at her Maine estate, surrounded by evergreen trees and a pool. ‘I am going to use this amazing hot tub every single day I am in Maine,’ she wrote in the caption.
