A 27-year-old man was arrested on Sunday after allegedly breaking into a $60 million Hidden Hills mansion owned by Kim Kardashian, according to law enforcement officials. Authorities were called to the property in the exclusive gated community just before 4 p.m., where the suspect was seen loading items into a vehicle and later attempting to drive away in one of Kardashian’s cars.
The incident occurred while Kardashian and her four children were not residing at the property, as the home is undergoing renovations. A security guard observed the suspect and contacted police, leading to his arrest on suspicion of burglary. No weapons were found on the suspect, and no injuries were reported.
Law enforcement sources confirmed the suspect was taken into custody without incident. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has not publicly identified the individual, and the investigation remains ongoing. Representatives for Kardashian and the sheriff’s department have not responded to requests for comment.
The 15,667-square-foot estate, purchased by Kardashian and her ex-husband Kanye West in 2014, includes eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms, a home theater, a game room with a wet bar, a library, and a gym. Kardashian has since expanded her compound by acquiring adjacent properties in the affluent neighborhood.
Authorities did not disclose what specific items the suspect attempted to steal, though reports indicate he loaded belongings into a vehicle before being detained. The case is being treated as a burglary investigation, with no further details released at this time.
