Murray, who signed a one-year, $1.3 million contract with the Vikings in March, will lead the offense in the team’s Week 1 matchup against the Green Bay Packers on September 13. McCarthy, the No. 10 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, will serve as the backup.
