An 18-year-old Georgia man has been charged with murder following the discovery of dismembered human remains in the trunk of his car, authorities said Friday.
Police charged Kingston Lammar Bradley, 18, of Smyrna, with malice murder and concealing the death of another in connection with the death of Shanteria “KT” Mosley, whose dismembered remains were found in garbage bags in the trunk of Bradley’s car at Park Valley Apartments in Smyrna. Mosley, a DoorDash delivery driver, was reported missing earlier in the week, and her remains were discovered after police responded to a missing person report.
Authorities confirmed the remains belonged to Mosley following an examination by the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s office. Bradley was arrested and taken into custody Friday, though police have not disclosed the nature of his relationship to Mosley or the circumstances leading to her death.
Investigators detail discovery and arrest
Police first responded to Bradley’s residence after Mosley’s family reported her car and phone were located at the apartment complex. Authorities did not execute a search warrant at that time. Witnesses later reported seeing Bradley carrying a container, which he dropped upon realizing he was being observed. The witnesses called police after finding human remains inside the container, leading authorities to obtain a search warrant for Bradley’s car.
Inside the trunk, investigators found a garbage bag pulled tightly around a body part, according to a police news release. Lt. Meredith Holt, a public information officer for the Smyrna Police Department, described the case as “particularly gruesome” during a press conference Friday.

Mosley, known to friends and family as “KT,” worked as a DoorDash driver, though police stated she was not working on the day she went missing. DoorDash confirmed her account was last active on Tuesday, according to a report from affiliate FOX 5 Atlanta. The company did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Bradley remains in custody without bond, and police have indicated the investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not provided further details about the connection between Bradley and Mosley, nor have they explained the method used to dismember the remains. The Cobb County Medical Examiner’s office is conducting further examination of the remains, and additional charges or details may be forthcoming as the case develops.
