President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a midterm election rally at 3 p.m. ET on Oct. 25 at McMorran Place Arena in Port Huron, Michigan, as part of his final push to support Republican candidates ahead of the Nov. 3 midterms.
The event follows Trump’s departure from the White House en route to Joint Base Andrews before traveling to Michigan. According to reporting, international rap artist Nicki Minaj will appear alongside Trump at the rally, marking a high-profile addition to the campaign event.
The rally is part of Trump’s efforts to bolster support for former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI), the Republican nominee for Michigan’s open U.S. Senate seat, as well as other down-ballot GOP candidates in the state. The event is intended to energize voters ahead of the midterm elections, which will determine control of the U.S. Congress.
Trump’s participation in the rally reflects his ongoing engagement in key races across the country as Republicans seek to maintain or expand their majorities in the House and Senate. The Michigan event is one of several scheduled stops in the final weeks leading up to Election Day.
