Rapper Offset, known for his work with Migos and his past marriage to Cardi B, was shot on Monday evening near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. A spokesperson confirmed he is in stable condition and receiving medical care at a local hospital.
The Seminole Police Department responded to the incident, which occurred in the valet area shortly after 7 p.m. One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital. Police detained two individuals in connection with the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities stated the scene was secured, and operations at the casino continued as normal.
Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, rose to fame as a member of the Atlanta-based rap trio Migos. In 2022, his fellow Migos member Takeoff was fatally shot in Houston. Offset and Cardi B, with whom he shares three children, announced their divorce in 2024.
