A single ticket sold in Delaware won the $231 million Powerball jackpot in Monday night’s drawing. The winning numbers were 07-24-37-42-57, with the Powerball: 05 and Power Play: 2X. The lump sum payout before taxes would be approximately $105 million.
The Double Play feature, available in select jurisdictions, also drew numbers: 3-17-48-56-64, with the Powerball: 20. This secondary game offers a top prize of $10 million and is available in 13 states, including Pennsylvania and Michigan.
Powerball is played across 45 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Tickets cost $2, with odds of winning the jackpot at 1 in 292.2 million. Drawings occur at 10:59 p.m. Eastern on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, with ticket sales closing at 9:45 p.m.
