Scottie Scheffler, the world's top-ranked golfer, brought his entire family—including his 12-day-old son, Remy—to the Masters Par 3 Contest at Augusta National Golf Club. The event, held before the main tournament, allows players to share the experience with loved ones. Scheffler's wife, Meredith, carried Remy in a baby carrier, while their two-year-old son, Bennett, played alongside his father with a blue plastic club.
Scheffler withdrew from the Houston Open earlier this month to be present for Remy's birth. He praised his wife for managing the family's travel and care during Masters week, stating that she has been a 'trooper.' The golfer also noted that Remy has been sleeping well, allowing him to rest adequately before the tournament.
The Masters Par 3 Contest is a tradition that provides a relaxed atmosphere for players and their families. Other golfers, including Jordan Spieth and Tommy Fleetwood, also participated, with both achieving hole-in-ones during the event. Scheffler is a two-time Masters champion and will compete in the main tournament starting Thursday, aiming for a third green jacket.
