Former President Donald Trump made a high-profile appearance at UFC 327 in Miami on Saturday night, drawing significant attention as he entered the Kaseya Center shortly after 9 p.m. to watch the light heavyweight fight between Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg. Trump was accompanied by Dana White, the president of Ultimate Fighting Championship, and several members of the Trump family.
As a Kid Rock song played, Trump walked to his seat where Secretary of State Marco Rubio and U.S. Ambassador to India Sergio Gor were waiting. He shook hands with attendees and greeted Joe Rogan, the podcaster and UFC color commentator. Trump also interacted with fighters, including Azamat Murzakanov, who won his bout and acknowledged Trump during his post-fight interview.
Earlier in the evening, Trump’s Truth Social account posted an advertisement that appeared to promote a UFC fight at the White House on June 14, coinciding with his 80th birthday. A crowd of onlookers filmed the presidential motorcade upon his arrival.
Trump’s appearance marked his first at a sporting event since the start of the Iran war. Before Saturday, his last major sporting event attendance was the College Football Playoff national championship game in January. He has been a frequent attendee of UFC events during his presidency and campaigns, including UFC 316 in 2025, UFC 302 and UFC 309 in 2024, and UFC 244 in 2019.
In the co-main event, Azamat Murzakanov defeated Paulo Costa with a right roundhouse to the head in the third round. Josh Hokit and Curtis Blaydes engaged in a heavyweight slugfest, with fans chanting "This is awesome!" as Trump watched excitedly.
