A Florida high school math teacher, Kirsten Rose, 37, was arrested after authorities alleged she engaged in a sexual relationship with a student. The investigation began in March when the student’s parents grew suspicious after he came home late and refused to disclose his whereabouts. After tracking his location, they discovered he was at an unfamiliar home. The teen initially claimed he was with a girlfriend but later admitted to dating his teacher.
Detectives found that Rose and the student had been communicating on Instagram since November 2025, with the relationship turning sexual in February. Rose was arrested and booked into the Brevard County Jail, where she is being held without bond. She faces five counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and charges of lewd and indecent exposure involving a student and an authority figure.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone with additional information to contact the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit.
