The Lake Havasu Police Department responded to a call regarding a deceased individual in the early morning hours of that day. Sheets was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was taken to the medical examiner's office for further investigation.
Sheets had been residing in Arizona following his retirement and ran an antique store called Havasu Show Me Your Junk. He frequently posted about the shop on his Instagram page, with his last post uploaded in December 2023. The late star appeared on 'Storage Wars' across 13 seasons, with his final appearance in 2023. He had also been a guest on other shows, including 'Rachael Ray' and 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.'
In 2019, Sheets revealed on Instagram that he had suffered a 'mild heart attack.' The Lake Havasu City Police Department's Criminal Investigations Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. Authorities have confirmed they are aware of cyberbullying accusations related to the case and that these claims are part of the ongoing investigation.
