Author Gordon Chang warned on the 'Will Cain Country' podcast that China is waging 'unrestricted warfare' against the U.S., citing fentanyl-related deaths, espionage, and sabotage as evidence. Chang referenced a 2019 People's Daily editorial declaring a 'people's war' on the U.S., which he described as a total war strategy by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Chang argued that fentanyl deaths in the U.S. are not accidental but deliberate, stating the CCP has 'done all it can to kill as many Americans as possible.' He also accused China of maintaining biological weapons facilities on U.S. soil, operating secret police stations, and engaging in other covert activities. The claims include allegations of drone flights over U.S. military facilities, bomb plantings, and the importation of counterfeit currency and automatic weapon parts.
Taiwan's President has also criticized China, stating the island 'will never be sacrificed or traded' in a stern rebuke of China's policies. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has reported on the dangers of fentanyl-laced pills, which pose a high risk due to variable drug content and lack of quality control.
