A new documentary titled "Sleeping Dog," directed by Michael Lazovsky, follows investigative journalist Jeremy Corbell's efforts to uncover classified information about unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). The film, secretly filmed over several years, includes previously unreleased footage and interviews with prominent figures in the UFO disclosure movement, such as astronaut Edgar Mitchell, David Grusch, and George Knapp.
Corbell, a key figure in the UAP transparency movement, has spent 14 years compiling secrets about the phenomenon. The documentary coincides with the federal government's release of unclassified documents related to otherworldly encounters. Corbell has facilitated Congressional hearings and platformed whistleblowers to bring attention to the topic. He claims that the government has assessed UAP as a national threat for decades and that the public now recognizes their existence.
The documentary also features declassified videos, including one from 2021 over Syria, showing advanced craft demonstrating impossible speed and acceleration. Corbell has revealed footage that ended up in the Department of War's UAP file drop. The film explores what Corbell describes as an '80-year global coverup' of UFO secrets.
